What's New In Plant & Equipment

The first customer TB260 customer was Dean Constructions & Groundworks of York.First 6 Tonnes Takeuchi Now In UK
+ Wheeled Excavator

The widely anticipated new 6 tonne Takeuchi has finally hit the UK shores. The first customer TB260 customer was Dean Constructions & Groundworks of York.

The addition of an extra tonne in operating capacity can make all the difference on site so it was worth the weigh. The new Takeuchi TB260 is not simply an expanded 5 tonne TB250, or a reduced down 8.5 tonne TB285; it has been specifically designed fill the gap in the in-demand 6 tonne weight class.

With cab it has an operating weight of 5720 kg, a 3,895 mm dig depth and a 6,130 mm ground reach. The model is powered by a Yanmar 4TNV84T engine, turbocharged engine delivering 34.3 kW / 2400 rpm.

A noticeable feature is the 43.2 kN bucket breakout force and 25.5 kN digging arm force which are significant for a machine in this class. The compact nature of the machine gives it the versatility to access and operate in very restricted areas. The footprint is just 2000 x 2573 mm with a 1,300 mm rear end radius.

For improved fuel efficiency, the TB260 features automatic idle, dial throttle control with economy work-mode and electronic engine monitoring.

An isolated cab minimises vibrations to the operator and a sliding suspended seat, 10-way adjustable headrest and ergonomically positioned hand and foot controls make for a comfortable operating environment.

The TB295W replaces the TB175W with an extra 2 tonne weight capacity.New Wheeled Excavator

Takeuchi also recently launch a new 9.5 tonne wheeled loader for the UK & Eire. The TB295W replaces the TB175W with an extra 2 tonne weight capacity.

Featuring interim Tier 4 engine, heavy duty dozer, a powerful 4 dual-wheel alternative to conventional tracked excavators with max dig depth of 4,115 mm and dump height of 8,400 mm.

With an operating weight is 9,387 kg, the new wheeled loader is designed and built for motorways, roads and street works applications, the road legal vehicle, when licensed for the road has a maximum on road speed of 29.2 km/h.

There is an out-rigger options for added stability and two piece boom is also available. Depending on configuration, maximum dig depth is 3,895 mm; 4615 mm dump height; 3695 mm ground reach and an engine rated at 70.6 kW.
