Contractors World UK & Ireland Vol 6 No 1

CASE Construction Equipment has teamed up

with its dealer, Hodge Plant, to leave visitors to

Scotplant in no doubt as to the strength and

depth of their range of equipment for applica-

tions as diverse as mining and quarrying to land-

scaping and utility works.

With the largest stand, Case will be showing

the recently launched excavators. There will be

three models from CASE’s latest D Series crawler

excavator range - CX130D, CX210D and CX370D.

These new machines are already proving their

productivity, their fast cycles and efficiency, and

the benefit of Tier 4 Final (Stage IV) mainte-

nance-free technology with no DPF required.

Scotplant is also the first UK qualifying

round of the CASE Rodeo Challenge event. An

opportunity for operators to show their skills

in a variety of tests that demonstrate dexterity

and precise handling of different machines.

Also on hand will be the Case team to explain about

the latest innovations in the CASE SiteWatch telematics,

maintenance programs and finance options.

Scott Freeman, Business Development Director for

CASE said:

“Scotplant is an extremely important event for

all those in the construction and associated

industries. It is particularly important for CASE

as our range of equipment is ideal for the tough,

demanding conditions found in Scotland and

northern England.

“Operators appreciate the comfort our

cabs provide in the worst of weathers. Owners

have confidence in the reliability, especially when

machines are operating in remote locations. And

low maintenance costs are always welcomed by

everyone.”

Wide Variety of Machines

More than 24 different models designed for all sectors

of the construction, quarrying and recycling industries,

equipped with latest emissions-compliant engines and

fuel-saving technology will be on show.

The heavy range line-up will include excavators, a

wheeled excavator, wheel loaders, and the largest CASE

dozer. There will also be an extensive range of machines

from the compact line, including midi excavators, back-

hoe loaders, mini excavators and skid steer loaders.

CASE Heavy range

Amongst the display, there will be two machines from

the C Series, a CX130C LR and CX145C SR. Using Tier 4

Interim engines, they offer efficiency and fuel saving

benefits through the use of the CASE Intelligent Hydraulic

System (CIHS), which incorporates five electronically

managed energy saving systems.
