Bell engineers reconditioned and refurbished the L2106E before delivering it to AFS in immaculate condition, something that has impressed Jason Allen.
The loader looks and performs as though it was brand new. Furthermore, it’s been working flat-out since it exchanged hands. The test of a machine is in its ability to deal with the workload. We are using the vehicle non-stop to shift a sizeable quantity of material on a daily basis, which is only achievable if the machine is up to scratch.
As a result, Jason Allen ordered a second pre-owned and reconditioned Bell, this time opting for an ADT to assist with moving the sand and gravel.
Again, this machine performed well, giving AFS the confidence to order its first new Bell – a B30E, part of the ‘next generation’ E-series that offers the latest in ADT technology.
Dynapac CA3500 soil rollers for Clee Hill
Clee Hill, the largest compaction rental company in the UK, have added a Dynapac CA3500 soil roller to their rental fleet.
The company is based in Chesterfield, employs 170 staff and has eight depots covering the UK. David Hagreaves, Managing Director at Clee Hill, comments:
We have been testing the CA3500 and have found it to perform excellently. It has a particularly good rating for climability.
The Active Bounce Control, which prevents over compaction, is a great innovation. We have had a number of Dynapac self-propelled rollers in the past but this new range of rollers and the continued support under the Atlas Copco group has played a major role in the decision making process.
Mark Black, Business Line Manager, comments:
The new range of Dynapac soil rollers are built with innovation, efficiency and reliability in mind. That’s why our range of rollers feature active bounce control, cross-mounted engines, low noise and fuel consumption and compaction analysers.
The Dynapac CA3500 soil roller has an operating weight of 12.1 t and a drum width of 2130 mm. The roller combines outstanding compaction performance with excellent operator comfort and fuel efficiency.
