Kobelco SK55SRX-6 mini-excavator for UK & Ireland - continued Kobelco has equipped the 5 t excavator with a dynamic triple-oil pump system (IFPS – Integrated Flow Pump System), which facilitates simultaneous fast and smooth work operation. This also contributes to improved fuel consumption from reduced engine workload. With an overhang of just 190 mm, the SK55SRX complements the compact design of the latest range of Kobelco SR mini-excavators. Combined with exceptional lifting and working capacities, it is ideal machine for restricted working space. It features a new dozer blade design to minimise over-spill during levelling operations. This reduces the work time by requiring fewer passes, which means less fuel. Although defined as a mini-excavator, the SK55SRX has a new and slightly larger upper structure for improved stability versus lifting performance. Larger, more spacious cab for greater comfort. This also means the cabin area is over 820 mm wide giving improved visibility and operator comfort. The front window features gas damper cylinders for smooth and easy opening and closing. A skylight provides additional natural light and easier operation when working at height. The wide door opening makes it easier to get in and out of the cab. The two speed travel - 3.7 km/h and 2.3 km/h - gives the operator the option of selecting the most appropriate speed for the work being done. Maximum digging depth is 3.900 mm, forward reach is 6,240 mm and digging height 5,930 mm. In standard specification, maximum operating width is 1,960 mm. For easier digging close to obstacles, the boom can be offset 70º to the left and 59º to the right. Bucket capacity is 0.16 m³. Bucket digging force is 35.2 kN and arm crowding force a maximum of 24.6 kN. Click here for more information: >>> Kobelco Construction Machinery |
