PlantworxExhibitors begin to ramp up for the inaugural Plantworx 2013

The inaugural Plantworx exhibition is rapidly approaching and exhibitors are gradually releasing information on what to expect. Most of the equipment on display will be new models that will be launched at the Bauma trade event in Germany in April.

Visitors numbers can be expected to be high because of the ‘curiosity’ factor to see how the organizers have been able to differentiate from the failed SED exhibition which it replaces. General feelings within the industry is that the organizers will deliver all that was good and eliminate the more annoying features that were SED of old.

The biggest challenge will be traffic management which plagued former exhibitions at whichever venue they tried. However, Stoneleigh is well experienced and has a proven track record being a dedicated show ground instead of a temporary arrangement.

Atlas Copco are using an 864 m² stand to showcase products from across the Construction Technique division including some surprises. In addition to the already comprehensive offering there will be several new products on display. The lighter weight, vibration reduced LH 8E hydraulic pick will be on show along-side our wide range of hydraulic powerpacks and attachments. A new, harder wearing and versatile compaction plate will be on display. The PC4 Jaw crusher (left) will represent the Atlas Copco range of powercrushers which are built for mobility, high performance and reliability.
