25th Anniversary
Limited Edition of E16
Compact Excavator
To mark the celebrations for the 25th
anniversary of the Bobcat compact
excavator range, a new Limited Edition
version of the Bobcat E16 1.6 tonne
compact excavator with unique styling
has been launched.
The special E16 Limited Edition model
provides an attractive complement to new
enhanced versions of both the E16 and the
1.4 tonne E14 compact excavators which
have also been launched by Bobcat.
Compared to the existing models, the enhanced excavators feature new exterior styling. Inside the cab, the most
important improvements are the new ergonomic travel levers and pedals that have proved very successful on the larger
E26 excavator model. The cab also incorporates, as standard, a new floor-mat and internal liner, whilst, according to
Bobcat, offering the largest foot space in this class of compact excavator.
Special Anniversary Book
Bobcat has also published a book to celebrate the 25th anniversary. Tracing the history and development of the Bobcat
brand, it gives an interesting insight in to how the products and the company has developed over the years.
Contractors World has also been given permission to digitize the book so that it can be viewed and shared on line

The new compact
excavators from
Wacker Neuson
With the new ET series in the class
of 1.7 to 2.4 tons, Wacker Neuson
is present ing a new generat ion of
compact excavators.
The large-volume diesel engines
of the ET models are not only high-
performance; they also correspond to
the newest exhaust standards, and the optional automatic idling speed control reduces fuel consumption and the noise
level of the machine. The unique cooling concept with newly developed cooling air ducting makes it possible to work
under full load with an ambient temperature of up to 45°C, and results in the longer operating life of the components.
A substantial feature of the ET series lies in the cabin interior with increased comfort, clarity and ergonomics. The
lower and broader cabin entrance ensures comfortable stepping in and stepping out. The ET18, ET20 and ET24 compact
excavators provide for maximum precision in machine control via a new, modular joystick carrier boxes and hydraulically
steered driver pedals.
The models’ optimized arm systems are available in two different dipper arm lengths. In addition to the standard
double-acting control circuit, up to four additional control circuits are optional.
