Case Brings Rodeo Competition
To Hillhead 2012
Case Construction Equipment will celebrate 170 years of innovation and engineering excellence at this year’s Hillhead
quarry equipment exhibition. With a host of new machine introductions this year, Case has continued to invest in a range
of Tier 4 Interim emissions standards solutions. This has resulted in the adoption of Tier 4 Interim engines across 90% of
Case models, maintaining the company’s position at the forefront of efficient, productive equipment design.
The company will have a range of F Series wheeled loaders, C Series excavators and two of its latest skid steers
on static display, with a CX370C crawler excavator and a 1021F wheeled loader at work at the quarry face in the
demonstration area.

In addition to the machinery on show, Case will be running a round of its popular
Rodeo operator skills competition at the show, with drivers trying their hand on the
firm’s latest mini excavators and T Series backhoe loaders.
Operators from all over Europe take part in these competitions, completing a variety
of challenges against the clock. Last year’s European final included teams from across Europe and Russia, with the prize
including a trip to the US finals in Las Vegas, making this a truly global competition.
Equipment solutions will also make up an important part of the stand, with experts available to discuss finance, spare
parts, service and maintenance back-up, along with the new Case telematics system.
Faster, More Productive And Fuel Efficient Wheeled Loaders
Building upon the successful introduction of the F Series wheeled loader range last year, Case will show a 521F, a 721FXR,
an 821F and the 1021F. Equipped
wi th frugal yet powerful Tier 4
Inter im engines , these loaders
use selective catalytic reduction
(SCR) with AdBlue to cut emissions,
and offer up to 15% lower fuel
consumption versus the previous
series.
