Launched to the North American markets at ConExpo 2011 at the beginning of the year, the three new models (GS-2669 RT, GS-3369 RT and GS-4069 RT) are a signifcant redesign of the 68 series through increased capacity and improved jobsite performance.

The new 12.2 m (40 f) model introducton is the only one of its kind in the market.

“In the compettve rental industry, customers need equipment that will be in high demand by jobsite personnel for uses such as commercial constructon and infrastructure improvements,” said Jef Weido, Senior Product Manager, Terex Aerial Work Platorms.

The new GS-4069 is the world’s frst 12.2 m full drive-height rough terrain scissor lif in its class, ofering a 14.2 m working height. “This is a tremendous additon to our scissor line,” said Weido. “This product will enable end users to dominate the jobsite with increased productvity and efciency.” Providing end user uptme while on the jobsite, the 9.96 m and 7.9 working models are also equipped with the full drive-height feature, ofering 11.96 m and 9.9 m of working height. An increased platorm work space gives end users more room to get their jobs done more efciently.

A standard front actve-oscillatng axle keeps all four wheels on the ground during operaton, providing the end user with more machine control and power when climbing hills and jobsite obstacles. Wheel drives and high efciency piston motors were added to get more torque to the rear wheels, providing jobsite performance similar to the large Genie boom products. Full swing-out doors provide easier service access to electronics, manifolds, hydraulics and engine. The new Genie Rough Terrain Scissor Series will be available in CE markets from September 2011.
