Contractors World is proud to promote UK initiative by the CEA
PLANTWORX – tremendous support from construction industry professionals In January of this year the CEA (Construction Equipment Association) announced its plans to host a new biennial working plant show named PLANTWORX which will take place at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire in May 2013. The new exhibition will have a strong focus on construction equipment, tools and equipment accessories and machinery demonstration will be its core feature. Following the successful media launch of the new event the PLANTWORX team has announced its plans for a dedicated ‘Exhibitor Open Day’ on 25th May 2011 at Stoneleigh Park from 10.30 am. Potential exhibitors, and companies who have already expressed an interest, have been invited along to see the evolution of what will be the UK’s leading construction event and the number one destination for the construction industry’s professionals. PLANTWORX has received more than expected acceptances to the exhibitor day, which is a good indication of the excitement surrounding the new show. Attendees will meet the PLANTWORX team, see and experience the PLANTWORX vision, which will include the sites planned layout, the vast digging demonstration areas available, stand costs and rates. Visitors will also have the opportunity to talk to show partners, PLANTWORX, contractors and other key construction experts who support this much anticipated event. An on-site visit has also been organised for would be exhibitors to ‘walk the grid’ of the 80,000 m² of the new show. Other guests attending the open day will be representatives of some of the leading companies who have already pledged their allegiance to the forthcoming event. Amongst the companies who have offered their commitment and will be exhibiting at the 2013 event include Volvo Construction, JCB, Ammann, Case and New Holland Construction, Hyundai, Bomag, Hanix, Takeuchi, Thwaites, Merlo, Auger Torque and Manitou.

What are companies saying? “Manitou UK Limited is pleased to support the new initiative to create a new construction and plant machinery show. A quality showcase for construction equipment is an important factor in promoting the Manitou brand to the customer base. We look forward to playing an active role as a major manufacturer of construction machinery.” Paul Bidwell “Merlo UK Ltd is delighted that we will once again have a centrally located ‘showcase’ event that will be accessible to all, with an excellent and proven infrastructure. A show run for the industry by the industry.” Glyn Stanton “Mini Excavator specialists, Hanix Europe Ltd, support the concept of a biennial construction equipment event at Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry, which would feature outdoor demonstration areas and alternate with the Hillhead quarrying and heavy construction show.” Graham Haigh “Takeuchi Mfg benefit from good working demonstration events to show case products effectively! Manufactures within the construction industry require an event that enables customers to test drive products, hopefully Plantworx will provide this platform.” Tamaru Tomonori |
